Traditional diagnostics are often essential to fully evaluate your pet's condition.  Outward symptoms may not be apparent until a disease process is quite advanced.

Bloodwork - we run basic bloodwork in house for monitoring certain conditions and performing pre-anesthetic blood panels (more on pre-a bw) .  More advanced bloodwork options are available through an outside laboratory, which will still provide you with prompt, accurate results.

Biopsy - we will evaluate, and, if necessary, biopsy or aspirate any lumps or other unusual skin lesions you find on your pet.

Radiology - we offer diagnostic x-rays, including dental x-rays.  In addition, we have specialists in ultrasound and cardiology available to examine your pet.

Urinalysis - detects bladder infections, and aids in diagnosing other conditions such as kidney disease, bladder stones, and diabetes.

Fecal exams - we perform routine fecal exams to check your pet for intestinal parasites.

Skin and ear cytology - a microscopic exam of the skin will reveal the presence of mites and yeast.

Fungal cultures - a diagnostic aid to detect ringworm
